David W. Reinsmith, 75, of Bethlehem, PA died peacefully after a short illness at St. Luke’s Hospital- Fountain Hill on August 31st. David was born on September 21, 1946 at St. Luke’s Hospital- Fountain Hill to Woodrow O. and Hilda E. (Miller) Reinsmith. David graduated in of 1965 at Liberty High School in Bethlehem. PA. David was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served honorably in the Air Force from 1966-1970. He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corporation after 37 years of service. David loved history, particularly the Civil War World War I and 2. He was a proud life member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Association. Jefferson Democrat Association, 540 Democrat Social Club and Wanderers. He was also a long-time member of the Hellertown American Legion, Post #397. He was of the Moravian faith.
Survivors: David is survived by a brother, Robert, and wife Nancy (Nagle), of Northampton, PA; Niece Paula (Reinsmith) Barron and husband Al, of Freemansburg PA and Nephew, Steven and wife Lisa (Wilson) Reinsmith of Northampton PA in addition to a great nephew, lan Noga, of Easton, PA.
