WEST HARTLAND, CT –WILLIAMS – David Thomas Williams, 73, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 after succumbing to complications from cancer. David spent his career as a Tool and Die Maker spending most of it working for Carling Technologies in Plainville where he retired from several years ago. In his free time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman spending much of the winter on the ice with his fishing buddies, Vin and Jack and in the fall, in the field with his beloved Springer Spaniel, Lucy who preceded him in death a few months ago. They are forever reunited in fields of green where they can both run freely without pain or suffering. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind two daughters, Kelly Matson and husband Blaine of Poulsbo, WA and Victoria Smallwood and husband Jack of Preston, CT; three grandsons, Zachary Wilson, Travis Millard and Grant Smallwood; a granddaughter, Ashlyne Smallwood; a sister, Bonnie Maliszewski and husband Ted of Niantic, CT; sister-in-laws, Kathleen Walasewicz and Francine O’Brien and husband Bob; and several nieces and nephews.
