David T. Smith (February 26, 1950) age 68 of Grafton, Ohio passed away September 7, 2018 at the VA Hospice Center in Cleveland after a short illness.
He retired in 2008 from Ford Motor Company in Lorain & Avon where he worked for 35 years. He proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of King Solomon Masonic Lodge in Elyria and Scottish Rite of Cleveland.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Nelson) Smith, 3 children, Jennifer (Smith) & Jeffery Allen, Diane (Katie) Smith, David (Pete) & Renee (Gisewhite) Smith, 7 grandchildren, Maddy, Jayden, Violet, Drue, JD (James-David), Jordyn & Jyanna and his sister Diane (Smith) & Donald Piazza.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Harold & Ursula (Birdsong) Smith, a brother, Harold Smith and a sister Pyllis (Smith) Chapman.
