DURHAM, NC – David Solomon Moody, Sr. 92, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018.
Mr. Moody was born January 26, 1926 to the late Willis and Inez Moody in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Moody was a WWII US Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Durham, NC. He worked for the North Carolina Highway Patrol and retired as the manager of the Durham County ABC board. Mr. Moody loved his dog, Casey.
Mr. Moody is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Inez Moody. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Elliott Moody; a son, David Moody, Jr. of VA; daughters, Lynne Moody of Durham, NC and Pamela Dennis of Durham, NC; a brother, Lewis Moody of Raleigh, NC; five granddaughters; three grandsons and five great grandchildren.
