David Sam Gressani, 69, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2017 at his home in Cocoa Beach, FL surrounded by his family. Born on May 4, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to the late Angelo and Helen (Aiello) Gressani, David was a 1965 graduate of Jamesville-Dewitt High School in Dewitt, NY where he was on the wrestling and football teams.
As a 3rd generation construction engineer, David began working with his father at Angelo Gressani Construction Co. and continued his career as owner and operator of Turnkey Construction Planners, Inc. and Gressani Enterprises. He had a general contractor and roofing license and his accomplishments included building the first pre-engineered metal school in NY, the first non-pollution incinerator plant, and he won several awards for unique building designs. David continued in pre-engineered metal building as a Regional Sales Manager at Chief Industries and then later for Nucor Building Systems where he won numerous awards for top volume, sales and delivery.
In addition to working in the construction industry, David had a realtor license, was a member of the Association of Realtors, and was a former Royale Towers board member.
David had a love for new technology, boating, traveling, and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Raulinko; five children, Guy, Kiersten (Miles), Bill (Ilczyszyn), Chad (Monica), and Evanka (Ilczyszyn); nine grandchildren, Bryce, Andrew, Brock, Adam, Taylor, Alexander, Kyle, Brody, and Brooklyn; two sisters, Elaine (Michael) Ranieri, Joyce (Donald) DeVaul and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.
