David Russell Beckett, 53, of Flemingsburg passed away Monday morning September 12, 2011 at St. Claire Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
David worked in auto body at Doyle’s for 25 years, and the VFW for 2 years, and was self employed in auto body for many years. He attended Unity Baptist Church and as a child attended Wallingford Methodist Church.
He was born September 25, 1957 in Fleming County. He is preceded in death by his mother Naomi Gulley Beckett.
David is survived by his wife Lisa Roberts Beckett, Daughter: Erica (Joseph) Jones, Grandchildren: Emily & Christopher, Father: Wilburn Beckett, Siblings: Regena Crawford, Shelia Lee, Pam (Tony) King, Cindy (Hector) Bustos, Angie Beth, and Tim (Pam) Beckett, Several nieces and nephews.
