Born in Alameda, CA, to the late David Rubio Sr. and Rosario Jimenez, David Rubio Jimenez Jr., 53, of Redwood City, died suddenly on December 2, 2021. David graduated from Salesian High School in San Pablo, attended San Francisco State, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Psychology. After graduation, he worked in human resources for Worlds Savings and Loan. When World Savings and Loan moved to San Antonio Texas, David relocated with them. Upon returning home to California, David held various positions relating to HRIT and landed his dream job at Linkedin as a HRIT Systems Analyst.

David was a selfless individual who was committed to his family and friends. He had friends worldwide, in numerous states and in other countries, and he would do anything for them all. He had an adventurous spirit, traveling by train, bike, and automobile, while posting on social media for everyone to follow. He was a lover of movies, books, and art.

David was an accomplished musician. He played guitar, in the flamenco style he loved, and bass in numerous bands. He followed every genre, and continually supported local music. As a fan, his musical taste was unfailing, and he continuously invited others to join him.

David is survived by his brother Alexander Jimenez of Oakland, CA, sister, Vivian Jimenez Mugg, and brother-in-law, Richard Mugg Jr. of Vallejo, CA.
