David Reed, 99, of Oxnard, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014, following a brief illness.
David was born June 14, 1915, in New Mexico to the union of Opie and Dessie Reed and had been a county resident for 35 plus years.
He proudly served our country in the United Stated Army and was honorably discharged.
Prior to his retirement, David worked in the agriculture/avocado industry for more then 30 years.
David is survived by his very close and loving friends, Veronica, Jose (Tatiana), Krytsal, Stefanie, Alex, Julian, Leticia, Juve, Carlos, Javier Jr., Enrique, Joey (wife, Brenda), Marisa, Martin, Ashley, Robert and Issac and a very special thank you to Georgia Herrera and Gia Zee for all your love, prayers, compassion and support.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
