David R. Nevin, 82, Anderson, died May 14, 2003 at Manor Care, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born May 27, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He was a lifetime resident of Anderson He retired on 1974 from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors after 35years of service. He was an Anderson High School graduate. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Anderson and the UAW Local #663. He is survived by his Wife whom he married August 26, 1941 in Linton: Ruth Smith Nevin. Daughter: Patricia Reason of Anderson. Sister: Louise Good of Pendleton. Three Grandchildren: Anthony J. Reason, Christopher D. Reason & Trina Harney and Heath A. Reason & Brigette Ellis. Seven Great Grandchildren: Christashia Reason, Riley Ann Reason, Kaycee Reason, Ricky Godfrey, Hunter Anthony Reason, Isaiah Reason and Heather Reason. He was preceded by his Parents: Harry & Rose Plummer Nevin. Brothers: Dewey Nevin, Bill Nevin, Joe Nevin, Harry Nevin, John Nevin and Robert Nevin. Sisters: Bernice Miner, Beulah Nevin, Vertna Cox and Mary Katherine Nevin.
