David R. Jensen, the son of Henry and Eirwen (Jones) Jensen was born on August 2, 1940 in Newton, Iowa. He was a graduate of Newton High School in 1959.
On September 2, 1961, David was united in marriage with Margaret A.
David died on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Newton Health Care Center in Newton. He was 77. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Henry H. Jensen.
Those left to honor David’s memory are his wife, Margaret of Newton; children, JoAnne (Mike) Holcomb of Rock Island, Illinois and Mike Jensen of Newton; his brothers-in-law, Craig (Jan) Johnstone of Grinnell and Mark Johnstone of Lacona, Iowa; his sister-in-law, Janice Hendricks of Pella, Iowa; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
