David R. “Dave” Bialk, 56, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, In.
Dave was born on September 1, 1954 to Robert and Norma Iris (Hatmaker) Bialk in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
Dave was a member of the United States Army and served his country for 5 years. He was retired from Valeo in Greensburg. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Lawrenceburg and a member of ABATE of Indiana.
Dave was born to ride. One of his greatest loves in life was his motorcycle and the open road. He also loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
Dave was married to Dawn A. Dixon on August 29, 2003 and she survives.
Other survivors include son; Rusty Bialk, Indianapolis, 2 daughters; Amber Bialk, Greensburg, Jennifer Bialk (and fiancé Jeff Horn), Connersville, brother; James A. Bialk, Washington State, sister; Iris (Dan) Wilhoit, Greensburg, and 3 granddaughters; Bobbie Bialk, Macy Addis, and Kylie Horn. He was preceded in death by his parents.
