Dave was born September 23rd 1953 to Russell and Elenor Richardson in Strongsville Ohio. He had 2 older brothers, Russ, and Ken, and 1 younger brother Tim. He was a multi sport athlete at Strongsville High School and graduated in 1971. It was there that he met his first wife Diane Spaeth, and they were married June 28th 1974. They had 2 children Cliff and Matt. Dave began his career at United Airlines June 6th 1974 and retired in 2008. They moved to Colorado in 1980. Dave enjoyed playing softball and golf in his spare time. Dave married his second wife Fran Steffen in 1989 and moved to Parker Colorado. He married his third wife Cathy Munger in 2002, and moved to Franktown, where he lived for his remaining days. He loved his backyard pond and gardening. He was best known by his grandchildren, Zachary, Garrett, Austin, and Alex for growing them pumpkins for Halloween. Dave had an energy and charm that would make him the focal point of any room. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
