David Norman Adams
David Norman Adams, 40, of Auburn, Ala., passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Ala.
David was the grandson of Georgie Tapley Ray, of LaGrange, Ga., and the late Johnny Richard Ray, Walter Adams and Florence Puckett Adams.
Along with his parents and grandparents, his family includes his brother, Gene Adams and Ashley Adams, of LaGrange, Ga., and sister, Stacy Adams and Thomas Green, of Opelika, Ala.; five nephews, Gavin Adams, Evan Adams, Jonathan Pierson and Weston Adams, all of LaGrange, Ga., and Hudson Adams, of Opelika, Ala.; aunts and uncles, the late Barbara Swain and Joe Swain, of Hazlehurst, Ga.; Opal and Gene Hogg, Nita and Toby Jeffcoat, and Jonna and Norman Ussery, all of LaGrange, Ga.; Richard and Heather Ray of Albany, Ga.; and Trampas Ray, of LaGrange, Ga.; Mary and John Blair of Alexander City, Ala.; Louise and Kevin Workman, the late Tony Adams, Debbie Adams Roden, and Jeanene and David Sanders, all of Lanett, Ala.; girlfriend, Amber Palmer, of Auburn, Ala.; and close friends, Wayne Atkins, of Talladega, Ala., and Elisheba Tolbert, of Auburn, Ala.
David was born May 21, 1975, to Richard and Sandra Adams of Lanett, Ala. He worked at West Point Stevens in Valley and Lanett, Ala., and demonstrated a strong Christian faith.
