David Michael (Mike) Worth Sr. of Newnan left his earthly home on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and was recieved into the hands of our heavenly father. He was born in Atlanta, Ga,on January 31st, 1945, to Dr. and Mrs. Jack J Worth Jr. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jack J Worth Sr. (Lucille) and maternal grandparents Mr and Mrs. Emmette G. Jackson, (Emily), his father Dr. Jack J. Worth Jr. and brother, Jack J. Worth III, all of Atlanta. A well-known business man, Mike moved to Newnan in 1970 where he owned and operated several businesses before opening the one business that proved to be his pride and Joy, Auto Re finishers Supply. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judith Ann Ruehle, Daughter Michelle Riede, sons, David Michael Worth Jr. (Barbara) and Douglas Martin Worth, (Kellie), all of Newnan. Mike is also survived by his mother, Juliette Worth, aunt, Patisue Jackson, his brother, Steve Worth (Rita) of Montgomery, Al. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His goal in later years was to care for his aging parents and aunt. His most precious gifts were his grandchildren, never missing plays, concerts, recitals and school programs. His grandchildren are Emily Worth, Isabelle Worth, Madison Riede, Gracie Worth, and David Michael Worth III (Trey) his very close “buddy”, all of Newnan.
