David Michael McKnight, 57, formerly of Parker, Colorado, passed away August 25, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
David was born July 29, 1962 in La Mesa, California to David Stanley and Beverly Ann Burns McKnight. As a kid he enjoyed playing baseball where he gained the nickname Char. He spent the majority of his childhood taking the blame for his sisters’ mischievous actions.
He graduated from Smoky Hill High School and turned into a disco king in his angel flight suits. He met his wife Holly selling shoes in the mall. They instantly fell in love and soon after started their perfect family of four. While selling shoes he realized he wanted to be his own boss and went to work with his dad at Ryder Trucks in Boulder, CO. Once he got the taste of freedom, he turned into quite the entrepreneur.
