David McDonald Prance, 54, passed away at the home of his son in Raleigh, NC on August 25, 2007.

He was a graduate of East Side High School in Atlanta, GA. He served six years in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He had a successful career spanning 30 years in the automotive industry owning and operating Prance Body and Fender Repairs, Crown Collision in the Atlanta area and Classic Collision Centers in Cary and Raleigh, NC.

David was an avid sportsman he enjoyed snow skiing, boating, hunting and fishing, NASCAR Racing, and time spent with his family, friends and his faithful Golden Retriever, Autumn. Traveling to his favorite places such as Cabo San Lucas, Park City Utah, Key West and Africa was a passion.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta McDonald Prance, and father, Bynon Mayes Prance. He is survived by his wife, Allison; son, Jonathan and his wife, MaryEllen; daughter, Jennifer; sister, Barbara and her husband, Bob Ginsberg; brother, Mark and his wife, Louise; nephews Mike Smith, Greg Smith, Aaron Browning, and Justin Prance; grandchildren, Kaige, Kaleob, Jenna and Kyra.

He will be remembered for his generosity and his loving and caring nature by his family and friends.
