David M. Cornwell, 67, died Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Marion Health, Marion, Indiana.
David was born January 20, 1954, at Kokomo, Indiana was the son of the late Arlie C. Cornwell and Juanita (Tackett) Cornwell, who survives in Marion. He was a 1972 graduate of Madison-Grant High School and was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing pool, collecting coins, and was best known as Santa’s helper and enjoyed making the kids smile and laugh seeing him in his Santa suit. He was a loving caring person and do anything for anyone if asked. He was the Santa for Cabela’s in Noblesville.
He is survived by his mother Juanita, and his longtime companion, Barbara Estelle, her daughter; Debbie (Chris) Brechbiel and her children; Britney Fox, Tyler Johnson, and Jacob White and son; Bob (Rhonda) Estelle, 6 great-grandchildren. Sister; Christa (Tom) Bohlander, Fairmount, brothers; Kenneth (Jeanette) Cornwell, Denver, NC and James (Cindy) Cornwell, Brandon, FL several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
