David Lee Williams, 54, of Newton died on Monday, February 28, 2022, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.
David, the son of Jack and Janice (Sholley) Williams, was born on February 14, 1968. He grew up in Colfax and lived most of his adult life in Newton. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He also liked to draw and spend time with is family. David was an avid NASCAR fan.
David is survived by his wife, Theda Ford of Des Moines; son, Michael Williams of Des Moines; and his siblings, Gloria William of Des Moines and Bill Williams of Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry D. Williams.
