David Lee Smith 70, passed away Tuesday, May
3, 2011 at Union Hospital of Clinton. He was
born September 6, 1940 to Charles Smith and
Virgina Stultz Smith in Cedar Park, IN. He worked
at Pea Body Coal for thirteen years and retired from
United Mine Workers and was a proud member
of that Union. He also worked several years for
Hamilton Center, and was a Truck Diver. He liked
to Camp, Fish, Old Cars, and Music. He aquired
many good friends while camping over the years.
He was an official member of the St. Bernice
Liars Club, and The Brown Barn Crew. He was
a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather. His
two nieces Sherri & Gina called him thier ROCK
because of his support. David was also a organ
donor.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; Judy Smith of St.
Bernice, Two sons; Brian Smith & (Rae) of
Aurora, IL., and Chris Smith & (Theresa) of
Green Bay, WI. Two Sisters; Phyllis Ingram of
Clinton, and Penny McGregor of Blue Springs,
MO. A brother Chuck Smith & (Carol) of Clinton.
Uncle Don & Aunt Barb Smith of St. Bernice.
Five Grandchildren; Megan Smith of Gary, IN.,
Lauren Smith of Aurora, IL., Addison Smith of
Aurora, IL., Brock Dulski of Larsen, WI.,
Braden Munoz, of Green Bay, WI. Many Special
Nieces and Nephews, & Cousins.
