David Lee Riffey, 52, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Sept. 2, 1961, in Jacksonville, the son of Donna Jean Blimling Riffey, and she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Debra Lynn Huff (surviving husband, Lyndel of Woodson).
Mr. Riffey was a 1979 graduate of Jacksonville High School, and then joined the U.S. Navy. He had worked at Nestle and AC Humko and most recently had been driving for Beelman Truck Company in Springfield. David enjoyed riding his Harley, boating and playing pool, and he loved his cat, Lady Bug.
