Mr. David Lee Patterson, Sr., age 78, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born February 14, 1938 in Hogansville, Georgia to the late Mary White Patterson and William Horace Patterson.
David was a graduate of Luthersville High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 9 years. He retired from Franklin Products in Peach tree City after 30 years. He continued working in the parts industry and ended his career working at O’Reilly Auto Parts. He was a member of the Luthersville United Methodist Church.
Mr. Patterson was such a loving man. He had a passion for animals, sports, fishing, gardening and most of all his grandson. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved son, David Lee Patterson, Jr.; sister, Penny Lanz; sister in law, Janette DeVane which he raised as his own daughter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patsy Patterson; daughter, Renee Patterson Espinoza (Jeff), grandson, Ryan David Patterson (Nicole); brother, William Patterson (Ada); brother in laws, Jesse Bromley, Charles DeVane, David Lanz and numerous nieces and nephews.
