David Larry Pike, 68, of Dunkirk, MD died at home on August 14, 2011. He was born in Hagerstown, MD on October 19, 1942 to the late Earl Dewitt and Anna Biser Pike. He moved to Calvert County in 1977. He had been employed as a bookbinder for a printing company and his passions were trains, the outdoors and his vegetable garden.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gail; sons Bryan and wife Dawn of Dunkirk; Wesley of Brandywine, MD and Patrick of Dunkirk; daughter Charlotte Pike of Breezy Point, MD; brothers, Ralph Pike of Mercersburg, PA; Michael Reece and wife Joy of Frederick, MD; John Reece and wife Joyce of Hagerstown, MD; Stanley Reece and wife Sharon of Falling Waters, WV; Glenn Pike and wife Geri of Alexandria, VA; and Marlin Pike of Culpeper, VA; sister Marie Lagana of Toms Brook, VA; three grandchildren and many friends.
