It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing our beloved son and brother, David Lara on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
He was born June 26, 1986 in Anaheim, California and had been an Oxnard resident for 20 years.
David is survived by his parents, Javier and Alicia Lara; his children, Angelina Lara and Brianna Lara; sister, Dalia Lara Benavente; brothers, Javier Lara and Cuco Lara.
Viewing is planned for Sunday, December 21, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Broken Chain
We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
but you didn’t go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
