David L. Walker, 65, died April 8, 2007 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born June 19, 1941 in Dugger, Indiana., and resided in Anderson.
He retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 1/2 years of service to his country. David was a member of the American Legion Post #127, the Fleet Reserve and the United States Bowling Congress.
He is survived by his wife Beatrice Moulding Walker whom he married on April 13, 1968; a son, David Walker of Anderson; brothers, the Rev. James R. Walker of Anderson and Gary Walker; and a sister, Teresa Henico of Linton. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.
