David L. Quiggle, 56, of Osceola, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home on October 31, 2019 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. David was born on October 27, 1963 to Dick and Ila (Eckert) Quiggle in Valparaiso, Indiana. He is a 1982 graduate of Valparaiso High School. He attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri where he met the love of his life, Brenda J. (Stover) Quiggle. They married in Marshalltown, Iowa in April 1987.
Dave has always had an interest in cars, from restoring old classics during his high school years to a career as a business manager at Basney Honda in Mishawaka, retiring in 2017 due to his illness. Outside of work, he had a passion for fishing on local lakes and rivers just for fun to competing in bass tournaments around the country. David was an active member at his church, Calvary Assembly of God, for many years where he helped with the annual bass tournament fund-raiser for missions.
David was a devoted and loving family man living life with a “never-give-up” attitude. He will be remembered for his fun-loving ways, care for others, and his faith in Christ. (Philippians 1:20-21)
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda Quiggle, along with their daughter and son, Kati and Dylan Quiggle; his parents, Dick and Ila (Eckert) Quiggle; and a sister, Dawn (Jeff) Troxel; his mother-in-law, Barbara Stover, and in-law siblings Kendra (Chip) Johnson, Andrea (Ken) Krier, Kurt (Stacey) Stover, along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. David was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Marjorie Quiggle and George and Ilene Eckert and his father-in-law, Kenneth Stover.
