David L. Middleton, 70, of Romney, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1951, in Crawfordsville Indiana, to the late Russell and Elfriede (Schlickenrieder) Middleton.
David graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School.
His marriage was to Estelle Cox and she survives.
David started his career as a truck driver and later retired from TRW as a parts inspector.
In his younger years, David enjoyed working with and showing horses. After he started his family with Estelle, David enjoyed restoring and showing classic cars with his son Scott, boating with his family, playing his guitar and singing with his children.
Surviving with his wife, Estelle are two children, Jodi (husband Josh) Hess of Fowler and Scott (wife Stephanie) Middleton of West Point, a brother, Mike (wife Cheryl) Middleton of Lafayette. Also surviving are eight grandchildren Cody Reece, Kassey Middleton, Chyenne Middleton, Marissa Middleton, Kody Laflen, Jade Laflen, Taylor Stidham, MacKenzie Stidham and one great grandchild, Wyatt Middleton.
