Mr. David L. Martinez Jr. age 75, a lifelong Milford resident, beloved husband of 52 years to Joan E. Williams Martinez, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December, 29, 2009 at Milford Hospital.
Son of the late David L. and Erika Fidor Martinez Sr., he was born on August 27, 1934 in Milford. David was a Builder for many years before becoming a Carpenter for First National Supermarkets where he worked until his retirement. He served with pride in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his devoted children, June Yates and her husband Greg of Stratford, Joanne White and her husband Robert of Sandy, Utah, and David L. Martinez III and his wife Pamela of Milford, two cherished grandchildren Jarred Yates and Victoria White. He is also survived by two sisters Anita Richards of Florida and Martha Perillo of Stratford. He was predeceased by three sisters.
