David L. Beaver, 65, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa. He was the husband of Dr. Marlene Hursh Beaver. They celebrated 44 years of marriage in June of this year.
Born in Danville, Pa., he was the son of the late Allen L. and Naomi (Morgan) Beaver. David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg University and Masters in Business Administration from Wilkes University. He was trained as an accountant and retired after many as a financial controller. He was an active member at First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem and served on the finance committee. David was an avid Yankee fan.
Survivors: surviving with his loving wife, Marlene are a son, Seth D. Beaver and his wife, Emily of Easton; a sister, Mary Ann Everetts of New Columbia; David is also survived by his wife’s family, who are dear to him.
