David Joseph Helowicz, 60, of Pasadena, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Baltimore to Elizabeth Jane and the late Frank John Helowicz. He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed going to the beach, crabbing, boating, sailing, water skiing and traveling.
David is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Donna DeLawder; cherished daughters, Allison and Christina; loving mother, Elizabeth Helowicz; and his dear siblings, Bonita Duffield, Catherine Helowicz and Andrea Hutchens. He will also be missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He also leaves behind 1 cat, 4 dogs and 8 chickens.
