David John Gossard passed away peacefully at Marion General Hospital on December 27, 2020. John was born on August 3, 1962 to the late David and Vina Mae (Hamilton) Gossard. On June 22, 1985 he married Melanie Fulton and they later divorced.
He is survived by his son, David (Shane Trace) Gossard of Columbus, a brother, Kenneth Gossard of Kenton, and many extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by a sister; Nellie Sue Silsbe.
John was the owner and operator of DJ’s Dump Truck Hauling for many years, and was currently employed by Graphic Packaging. He was a member of the Kenton Eagles and his favorite hobby was attending and competing in truck pulls.
