David James Berry, 33, was killed during a terrorist attack in Tripoli, Libya on January 27, 2015. David was born to James Leslie Berry and Tina Renee Townsend (Turner) on September 4, 1981 in Sierra Vista, Arizona where he grew up. He attended Buena High School, New Mexico Military Institute, and graduated from Tombstone High School in 2000. He achieved his childhood dream of being a Marine when he joined the Corps in September of that same year.
