David J. McGee, 46, Anderson, died December 10, 2010 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a sudden illness.
He was born June 17, 1964 in Flint, Michigan, and resided in Anderson for 19 years. He worked at Brockway Glass in Lapel for three years, was a self employed painter, and formerly had worked at Furrow’s and Carter’s for several years. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Anderson where he was involved in the Prison ministries as a volunteer Chaplain. David was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan and sports fan.
He is survived by his wife whom he married October 19, 1991, Joyce Gill McGee; three sons, Zachary McGee, Christopher McGee and Anthony McGee all of Anderson; mother, Margaret “Peggy” McGee; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Robert and Barbara Gill of Anderson; brothers, Rev. James McGee Julie of Virden, Illinois, Rev. Richard McGee Melva of Columbus, Ohio, Robert McGee Linda of Flint, Michigan, William McGee of Flint, Michigan, Michael McGee Buffy of Flint, Michigan; sister, Barbara McGee of Flint, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and loving dog, Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Earl McGee and nephew, John McGee.
