David J. Cox, 79, passed away January 2, 2013 in Pueblo, CO. He was born in Duluth, MN on April 6, 1933, to William and Bertha (Gundry) Cox. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. On November 26, 1966, he was united in marriage to Patricia “Trish” Keith in St. Paul, MN. David worked as an accounting manager for Unisys in Minneapolis and Pueblo. In 1994, after his retirement, David and Trish moved to Arizona and then back to Canon City in 2000. He was a life member of the V.F.W., also a member of the Order of Odd Fellows. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Trish; daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” (Eric) O’Connell; granddaughter, Clara; and brothers, Russell (Carol) Cox and Robert (Kathy) Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Jerry; and sisters, Patty, Shirley, and Jean.
