David A. Iafrate, age 62 of Midland, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Tendercare of Mt. Pleasant.
The son of Zabel (Abrahamian) and the late George Iafrate was born July 19, 1949 in Detroit where he was raised and educated. David served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On September 5, 1981, he married the former Barbara Knapp in Midland.
David is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, David (Mandy) Iafrate, II of Rogersville, TN, Dominick (Amber) Iafrate of Kingsport, TN, Lesslie (Cynthia) Iafrate of Midland; daughter, Clarrissia Iafrate of Midland; seven grandchildren; mother, Barbara Iafrate; brothers, Donald, George, and William Iafrate all of Coleman; sisters, Phyllistine Siegel of Coleman, Debra Spicer of Farwell, Lori Brown of Lansing, Susan Govitz of Coleman, Helen Iafrate of Coleman and Nancy Iafrate of Midland.
