David Chuck Holt, 64, of Woodbury and Plainville, CT, son of the late John Dale Hiland Holt and the late Shirley Mahl Holt, passed away Saturday March 27th, 2010, at the Uconn Medical Center in Farmington. David was born July 3rd 1945 in Hartford, CT. David was very special to his parents and spent most of his happy years living with them in Woodbury. He enjoyed working side by side with his mother and father at their woodworking shop, gardening and helping care for all the farm animals at their wonderful home in Woodbury. His family will always remember him best sitting on his fatheréaa¢s tractor with a big smile. David loved being around happy people and enjoyed all of his great nieces and great nephews. He will forever remain young at heart, eating ice cream on the front terrace of his home in Woodbury. He was predeceased by a sister Betsy Dale Holt Clarke. He is survived by his brother John Nicholas Holt and friend Marilyn of Granby; his many nieces and nephews, Steven Hamilton Holt of San Francisco, CA, Dana Hintz and her husband Michael of Bristol, Allyson Damiano of Watertown, Catherine Holt Curtin of Maryland, Stewart Hiland Holt, serving in Kuwait and Sterling Humphrey Holt of Burlington and several great nieces and nephews who he enjoyed so much through his later years, especially Amber and Tommy. David’s family would like to thank all of his care givers at Apple Rehab in Plainville for all their care and companionship. Special thanks to his attorney Lisa Wabiszczewicz and friend Alice Lund.
