NEW BRITAIN; Mr. David H. Weir, 60 of New Britain passed away Monday June 4, 2012 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain. He was the loving husband of Lisa (Cloutier) Weir. David and Lisa were married July 4, 1978.
Mr. Weir was born October 9, 1951 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada a son of the late Gordon and Helen M. (Adams) Weir and was a longtime New Britain resident. He was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School and was employed at General Electric for many years. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and loved his Monte Carlo. He enjoyed cookouts with family and friends. His family loved his quick wit and he always had a smart remark.
Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Nicole Weir and her fiancé Micheal Taylor of New Britain, his brothers, Gordon T. Weir and his wife Diane of Boston and Robert H. Weir and his wife Pauline of Frost City, CA, his sister, Susan Tulloch and her boyfriend Arnold Levesque of Plainville and several nieces and nephews.
