David H. Harper, 63, of Fortville, passed away March 8, 2017 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born December 23, 1953 in Sparta, Tennessee to William R. and Lillie (Stewart) Harper.
David had worked in construction for many years. He is survived by wife: Lila (Petty) Harper whom he married June 1, 2001; daughter: Rachel (Brian) Woodward of Mooresville; son: John David Harper; grandson Brody Woodward; step-son Shawn Wilson; brothers: Ronnie (LaVonne) Harper; Ricky Harper and Steve (Bonnie) Harper; and sisters Mildred Pharris and Joyce Eubank.
David was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bobby, Ray, PeeWee, Roger and Wayne Harper.
