It is with deep sadness to announce David G. Larson passed away January 3, 2022. David was born May 17, 1966 in Boulder Colorado, to Marvel “Red” and Kathleen “Kathi” Larson.
In Colorado, he participated in scouts and Little League baseball. Dave moved with his family to Stevensville Montana in 1977, and graduated Stevensville High School in high school he worked changing irrigation pipes, earning $.25 per pipe. (a good wage at the time)
Dave met his bride, Brenda Albert, while attending college at the University of Montana in Missoula. They had three business/information system courses together. Dave graduated from college in 1992 and married Brenda on July 4 of 1994 in Havre, Montana.
In 1994 Dave moved to the Boise area where he began his employment at Hewlett Packard (HP) and soon after was joined by Brenda in 1995.
On February 28, 2000 Dave and Brenda brought home a beautiful baby girl, Shelby Alexandra Larson.
David began his 25+ year career at Hewlett Packard (HP) as a Support Agent and worked his way up to the position of Data Orchestrator. One of his many accolades, while employed with HP includes the acceptance of his Data DNA Patent-Traceability Identifier. He also submitted several additional ideas for patent review. During David’s tenure with HP he was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel internationally. Some of his travels included trips to Singapore, Malaysia and Mexico. On One trip he was able to include his family.
David had a variety of interests and hobbies a few included: woodworking, target shooting with his dad, ham radio operator, Koi club and working on vintage cars (a member of the Treasure Valley Model A Club). He had a myriad of interests and a special love for animals. He also enjoyed game night with friends.
Surviving family members: Wife Brenda and Daughter Shelby, Father Marvel “Red” Larson, Mother Kathleen “Kathi” Larson, Brother Brad Larson and Wife Theresa, and Nephews Erik and Nick, and many extended members.
