Upland: David G. Ratliff, 58, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Marion, the son of Velma (Clark) Ratliff and the late Rexford Ratliff. Mr. Ratliff graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1972 and married Roberta Jones on February 3, 1973, in Upland.
She survives. David had been employed with Shearer Printing in Kokomo for 17 years and was a member of the Hanfield United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Eastbrook football fan and an active member of The Visionaries Sunday School Class at Hanfield United Methodist Church.
His lifes passion was to serve God and praise Him in all circumstances. In addition to his mother and his wife of 39 years, he is survived by a son Nicholas Ratliff (fianc: Shawnda Stevens), Upland; two daughters, Kristi (Larry) Shipley, Upland, and Adrienne (Shawn) Rust, Upland; three brothers, Rex Ratliff, Rosharon, Texas, Randy Ratliff, Van Buren, and Mark (Cathy) Ratliff, Columbia, Tennessee; one sister Sandy Haynes, Van Buren; and 13 grandchildren.
