David F. Calliari, age 95, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Ida M. Calliari, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Fayette Township, PA, the son of the late Francis and Emma Calliari, he had been a Fairfield resident for over 50 years. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran where he received the Purple Heart. Following the War, David received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and his MBA from Rutgers University. He worked as an executive for the Johnson & Jonson Company and retired from Raybestos-Manhattan. Mr. Calliari served as President of Parents & Friends, Lower Fairfield Regional Center and served on the Board of Directors at the Kennedy Center. He was an active parishioner of St.
