David Egner-Citta was born on July 31st 1990 and passed away on April 20th 2022.

David was known for his passion for sports, his humor, outstanding work ethic both in the workplace, and at the gym, and for loving the people he felt were most important to him in his life. David was a full-time student at Brookdale Community College and was also working full-time before he passed away. David was a natural born athlete and an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and football. He had many dreams and aspirations to lead a successful life and was working towards a career in plumbing while getting his associates degree in liberal arts.

Above all else his greatest achievement was his daughter Aliyah who he loved with all his heart. David was the kind of person who would never admit defeat and still continued to work on his path in recovery everyday despite his challenges. David truly would light up any room he would walk into with his magnetic personality and bright smile and he will truly be missed.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Marilyn Svenson and his grandmother Virginia Capodici.

Surviving is his loving daughter Aliyah, his Mother Cynthia Citta, his grandfather Philip Citta Sr., his sister Marissa Citta, his Uncle Phil Citta, Aunt Laura Citta, Uncle Ronnie Svenson and Aunt Dana Svenson and cousins Leyla Citta, Joseph Citta and Katelyn Svenson, his loving girlfriend Arielle McIntyre, and also his good friends Billy Paterno and Jay Jonelunas.
