David Edwin Brinker departed this life on Monday, August 31, 2020 at his home in Batesville.  He was born in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Base on December 5 1952.

David served in the Navy during the Vietnam War as a Navy Gunner.  He was a welder and retired from the Energy Power Maintenance Department in Newark. He enjoyed politics, music, and running.

David is survived by his wife, Lisa Kaye; his parents, Ronald and Sue Kerr Brinker, of Franklin, Tennessee; three daughters, Cassie Cummins, and her husband Richard, of Collierville, Tennessee, Emily Melton, and her husband, Craig, of Jonesboro, and Marla Crotts, and her husband, Shad, of Newark.

He leaves a brother, Doug Brinker, and his wife Nancy, of Cynthiana, Kentucky; two sisters, Lisa Fox, and her husband David, of Franklin, Tennessee, and Lana Ohmes, and her husband, Joe, of Brookport, Illinois; nine grandchildren, James, Henry, Ethan, Maddie, Slade, Sam, Natalie, Liam, and Nevin;  stepchildren, Paul Savage and Chelsea Savage; and  five step-grandchildren of Batesville;

He was prededed in death by two brothers, Kevin Ray Brinker and Bradley Gene Brinker, his grandparents, Gordon and Lorraine Kerr and Howard and Beulah Brinker.
