David grew up in Springtown, Texas and fell in love with his wife, Alice while attending the University of Texas, Arlington. They moved to Colorado where they started a family and he had a career in business development and exploration in the oil and gas industry. David was adventurous, his hobbies included skiing, fly fishing, whitewater rafting and kayaking. He captured his love of nature in the beautiful oil paintings he created.
