David E. Ellis, Sr., age 82, of Fairfield CT, beloved husband of Emma F. Wilson Ellis, aka Pat, for over 60 years, passed away after a lengthy illness on December 5, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Port Chester, NY, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Taylor Ellis. He resided in Fairfield for over 40 years. Formerly the family resided in Sandy Hook, and Greenwich, CT. Mr. Ellis served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as an Aircraft Carrier Mechanic.
