Beloved husband of 50 years to Martha A. Wilson (Wiseman). Dear father of Kimberly (Brad) Spence, Kristy (Kevin) Griffin and Lindsey (John) Plower. Loving grandfather of Cole, Paige, Cormac, Sadie, Ty, Dylan, Jack, Sean and Wes. Son of the late David and Margaret Wilson. Loving brother of Doug (Judy) Wilson and uncle to Laura (Jake) Colony, Blair (Rachael) Wilson, John (Kim) Moore, Rich (Gena) Moore, Jennifer (Jeff) Orvin, Lori (Gabe) Priebe, Lacy Wiseman and McCall (Owen) Akabua.
Dave was a 1967 graduate of Haddon Heights High School and 1971 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. He was the proud owner of David Wilson Men’s Shop in Westmont, NJ for 46 years. Dave was a member, past president and 27-year board member at Tavistock Country Club. He was also a member of Haddonfield United Methodist Church. David adored his family, a cigar with friends, a day on the golf course at Tavistock and a sunset happy hour with friends on “The Point” in Hudson Florida. He will be fondly remembered for great times, family dinners and trips, Christmas Eve parties at his store, cheering on the kids and grandkids at all manner of events and being a guy that everyone wanted to be around. To know “DW” was to be his friend for life. His vibrant spirit will live on in each of us who knew him, as he would have wanted.
