David E. Willmore, 73, longtime resident of Allentown and participant of Senior Life, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022 while in the care of ProMedica, Bethlehem. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Marsella and Bertha (Wharton) Willmore. David was an outgoing, loving and caring individual. He was always putting others before himself and making sure his family and friends always had everything they needed and more. David’s faith in the Christian Religion and love for the Bible showed thorough in his everyday life. He had a love of walking the neighborhood, listening to music, watching movies, and he always had a great appetite.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son Michael Willmore of Nashville, TN; sister Marquita Jordan of Philadelphia; nieces Christina Willmore, Tiffany Willmore and Tia Bailey; nephews Theodore Willmore, Jr. and Aaron Jordan as well as many loving grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife and mother to his son Michael as well as his brothers Neil Johnson, Arthur Johnson and his twin brother Theodore Willmore.
