David E. Kilchenman, age 56, of Sleepy Hollow, Illinois, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio March 7, 1956. Dave was a 1978 graduate of Kent State University and later earned his master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. On September 12, 1978, he married Jill A. Yuhaniak. Dave was a 24 year resident of the Dundee, IL area and a 34 year employee of FM Global Insurance, where he worked as an underwriter. He was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in West Dundee and a member of the Siena Council #8596 Knights of Columbus. He was a loving and supportive husband and father. In earlier years, Dave was a little league coach for his sons’ baseball teams. His wife of 30 years, Jill A. Yuhaniak Kilchenman survives him along with their sons, Michael, Matthew and Daniel; his father, Earl D. Kilchenman of Kent, Ohio; his sisters, Amy (Robert) Fieldman of Centreville, VA and Jodi (Thomas) Johnson of Hudson, OH; his mother-in-law, Virginia Yuhaniak of Salem; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His mother Rita McManaway Kilchenman preceded him in death.
