David E. “Dave” Humphrey, 58, of Elkhart, passed away in Middlebury, following an illness at 6:35 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017.
He was born Feb. 13, 1959, in Chicago, to the late Conn L. and Betty (Dulin) Humphrey, and leaves behind his former spouse, Florence “Flo” (Rapin) Humphrey of Elkhart.
Also surviving are his siblings Kelly (Jeff) Shreiner of Bristol, Mark (Tracy) Humphrey of Elkhart, Cindy Humphrey of Goshen, Rhonda (Rick) Backes of Albers, Illinois, Vicky (Roger) Hartley of Muncie; a half brother, Jerry Grogan of San Francisco, California; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Dexie.
