David E. Griswold, age 49, of Milford passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Milford Hospital. He was born on March 2, 1959 to Bob and Sue Griswold of Stratford. David proudly continued the family business as the second generation owner and operator of Center Auto Machine Shop in Stratford, where he worked for the past 30 years. An active member of the community, he was a coach and manager for the Milford Little League for 18 years. He was a member of GCICA Antique Assoc. and an avid Orioles Fan. Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Karen York Griswold, children Matthew Griswold, Bryan Griswold, Amy Griswold, Robert Griswold, Staci Morel and Richard Morel, sister Patti Mraz and her husband Jay of Milford, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. David will always be remembered as a very loving and devoted husband and a dedicated and cherished father, son and brother.
