David E. Cowan, 64, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 15th, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
David was born on September 12th, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late George Cowan and Carol (Updike) Cowan.
David was employed at National Starch and worked as a fork lift driver for ten years until his retirement. He took pleasure in being outside and enjoyed a number of activities like planting trees, gardening, outdoor work, and playing with his dog. David loved to travel and was always thrilled to find unique pieces to add to his collection of hats and shot glasses.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda (Chase) Cowan, of Franklin, Indiana; his three children, Cindy (Joshua) Ray, of Bargersville, Indiana, Mindy (Charles) Hildebrand, Chris Cowan, both of Franklin, Indiana; his two grandchildren, Caitlynn, Jasmine; his sister, Cathy (Ron) Warner, of Indianapolis, Indiana.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Jacob.
